  • Remove all metal and plastic lids and rings
  • Labels may be left on
  • Lightbulbs, dishes, ceramics, window glass and mirrors, or Pyrex

  • Coffee cups/mugs
Look for this symbol on the bottom of all containers
  • Rinse clean

  • Separate milk containers from colored #2 plastics

Milk jugs, dish detergent bottles, etc. with the #2 symbol

Clean steel cans or “tin cans”
  • Rinse clean
  • Remove labels and place them with mixes paper
  • Remove top and bottom, then crush flat

Clean aluminum cans, foil pans, aluminum foil, and lawn furniture
  • Rinse clean
  • Flatten
  • Separate any non-aluminum parts
  • Any non-aluminum parts
Leaves, grass clippings, garden waste, clean soil
  • Drop off these materials in designated area
  • Branches
  • Plastic bags
  • Rocks
  • Non-organic material
  • Meat scraps

Place in designated areas at the transfer station.
Do not mix antifreeze with oil.
